Thank you for stopping by. My name is Chip. I was born in the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana, I began my cooking career at the age of 8 after learning how to make roux from my mother. As I advanced, I learned how to make gumbo and many more tasty dishes from friends, family, and cookbooks. Interned and trained under the late famous Cajun chef, Paul Prudhomme at K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen and graduated from culinary school at the Culinary Institute of New Orleans in 1999. I really got in touch with my Cajun roots and began cooking for community events. After a lot of positive feedback, I eventually started my own catering business, and the rest is history.
